No to both. Modern factory paint is flexible enough to let the metal be massaged back into place without cracking. Because PDR restores the metal to its original shape and relieves the tension from the impact, the repair is permanent, so the dent won't pop back in.

PDR is versatile, but it has limits. We can't use it if the paint is already chipped, cracked or deeply scratched inside the dent; if the dent sits on a heavily reinforced panel edge; or if the metal is severely stretched from a sharp, high-velocity impact.

Most single dings, creases or trolley dents are fixed in 1 to 2 hours, often same-day at your home or office via our mobile service. Extensive hail damage takes 1 to 3 days, still weeks faster than a traditional smash repair shop.
